Should the Academy bring back the Oscar for Best Choreography?

In 1935, 1936, and 1937, the Academy handed out the award for Best Dance Direction to choreographers Dave Gould, Seymour Felix, and Hermes Pan. After the award was retired, the Academy occasionally handed out honourary awards for achievement in choreography to the likes of Gene Kelly, Jerome Robbins, and Onna White.

Though originally the award was intended just for dance choreography, there's clearly not as many musicals being produced now as there were in the early years of the Oscars. Instead, there's been a rise in really beautiful fight choreography (and obviously, musicals still exist). I've long thought that the recognition for fight and dance choreographers has been well-deserved but overlooked, and with the Creative Arts Emmys this weekend (which does recognize choreography), it just had me wondering what everybody else thought? Do you think choreography should be recognized by the Academy, or are the awards fine the way they are? Are there any other categories you think the Academy should recognize?
