Not sure where to start but I'm feeling really down about school. I started college 17 years ago and through off and on, I'm still trying to get my bachelor's degree. I'm in a 2 year program in something I thought I enjoyed but since I can only go PT as I work FT, it's going to take me 4 years to finish. I'm starting my third year now. I'm a perfectionist and when I feel like things aren't going well or I can't win, I give up. The professors in this program have sucked any enjoyment out of learning and I'm really tempted to give up (again) but this program isn't really set up for that and if I "take a break" I won't start again.
I'm not sure that I benefit from finishing my degree other than "having that stupid paper" (my words). I'd love to have free time again and not have to deal with petty, subjective professors.
I know I have to suck it up and just finish but I'm really, really low on the motivation scale right now. Any words of advice are appreciated. Thanks
