By "In Vogue" I mean the traditional white male heterosexual, big bear, full head of hair, 6'2", good looks, comes from money (probably), easily gets a good job, blah blah blah. Okay so if you're part of this group, doesn't motivation come super easily to you? The ability to "work hard" in life is probably super easy, because you, as that guy, know that it will most likely lead to success. People already like you for your genetics, and you have the other things that come with it. You're a natural born leader, high sought after by the opposite sex, you're basically like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. If someone were in that position, they would find being motivated towards working on their goals very easy because of the high chance of success or continued success. So, what do you do if you're not one of them? I also believe they will hold others down who do not fit into their demographic. After all, those in power will do anything they can do to keep it, and those without it will do anything they can to get it. I'm not saying that "power" is the end game, but success comes with power whether you like it or not, so I feel like opposition is innate with success.

TL;DR : What is the point of setting goals and accomplishing them and trying to further and better your life, if people don't like you because you're not the ideal male/female at the top of society already? You'll just get crushed and pushed back down, so why even try?
