If this was your last week to live, would you be happy with the way you’re living? Let me guess what your last days would be like: going to a job you’re not crazy for, always trying to prove yourself to others (even the ones you don’t know too well), smoking the broccoli, getting pushed around, attending to other people’s needs, and never attending to your personal needs. Oh yeah, and you jerk off like muahfucker.
If you’ve read this far, then you have this desire to change, but are “stuck”. It’s okay if that’s the way you’re living or even close to it. But you have to ask yourself if you’re worth the investment for change. Anybody who went on to accomplish something in their life usually had rough beginnings.
Let me tell you a short story-Dr. Suess style, haha kidding. There was this one boy named Theodore. He was sick as a child, had poor eyesight, and home-schooled. Theodore was a boy encompassed with his fragility. His father was not impressed and told him straight up:
“Theodore you have the mind but you have not the body, and without the help of the body, the mind cannot go as far as it should. I am giving you the tools, but it is up to you to make your body.”
Then getting a sudden paradigm shift, Theodore let out these words:
“I will make my body!”
This little bitch of a kid came out as Theodore Roosevelt. With improving his body, he enhanced his mind. He changed from his sorry ass state to one of self-fulfillment.
If a sickly kid like that can change his mindset for the better and go on to accomplish goals that are meaningful to him, how come we can’t do the same. We have better access to wisdom and information than he or any scholar did. Heck, we’re probably more knowledgeable than most of mankind, but we fail to act and live up to the ideals we have set in our mind.
We refuse to change ourselves, even when our time to live is coming to a close.
Death will always be knocking, And the scarier part, some of you reading this post right now might die a lot sooner than others. So if you’re seeking to change, do it at this moment. Wait no more. Because you owe it to yourself. Heck, if we want to get even cheesier, you owe to it your friends and family, so they can look up to someone who is wise, strong, disciplined, and reliable.
People who make the conscious choice to change are the ones who are not afraid of dying. Because they did everything in their power to live as truthfully as possible.
You might be thinking I’m a nobody on the internet, but it breaks my heart knowing millions, if not billions of people are not living up to their true potential.
If this post resonated with you or had any meaning, upvote it so all these muahfuckers can see whats up.
Aight, PT is out.
Tl;dr
You’re going to die soon, so stop wasting it on shitty habits. Your life is worth changing.
