I saw Best F(r)iends, Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero's new movie.

Last night I saw the film at the Prince Charles Cinema in London, where the film was screened for the first time in front of an audience. Tommy and Greg were there, promoting the film and I got photos with them. Tommy is just as weird and wacky in person but so awesome.

The movie was just as strange. It was unlike anything I'd seen, it felt like an independent student movie but the most self-aware thing. If you don't know who Tommy and Greg are, it'll come off as an even stranger piece of filmaking and it probably doesn't work without knowing their personas or seeing The Room. But it's actually a fun, enjoyable film and there is a quality to it. My screening had several laughs at things Tommy did but there were heartfelt moments in there. Seeing Tommy Wiseau on the big screen again was something as he's just himself, strange but loveable.

It's hard to talk about the film too much without spoiling it but I'm happy to answer any questions people may have about the film or seeing the two actors together, in a non-The Room setting.
