Hi there, I recently found this really catchy song called "The Wolf" but after looking at the music video and reading the lyrics, I think I can make a theory about what the song is all about. It's only a couple minute long animation, but if you want to go watch the video yourself first, it's at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX44CAz-JhU
Anways, I think the wolf represents bad habits. The song really doesn't seem to refer to the "wolf" as an actual wolf but moreover a bad habit. Because there are lines like "I can feel how your flesh now is crying out for more," and the "wolf" seems to take on a more blob form to catch up to it's victims. The second man in the video seems to have alcohol, (he runs out of a bar) and the wolf seems to come from the alcohol ITSELF (where it sprouts from) saying that the second man may be an alcohol addict, hence the bad habit. The third girl seems to be normal until she starts smoking. smoking is of course a bad habit, and while she is smoking is when the "wolf" comes out to attack her. Now the starting man I couldn't really figure out. It might be cowardice, even though I can't call that as bad of a habit as smoking and drinking are. I'm going to take a guess and say that the first man (motorcycle dude) has always been scared and was a coward, but when they are all cornered by their bad habits in the very end, he lashes out at them and attacks them, ending the video. So the whole theory is that the "wolf" is bad habits or addictions, and no matter what you do to try to stop it, it will "make your flesh cry out for more." Now i'm not 100% sure about the first man's "addiction" but I still think its cowardice, he is running away from his wolf, and only starts fighting his "habit" when they are cornered by the wolves. But all of the characters run from the wolves, so I'm not very sure. Maybe the first man has a lust for violence, or might be some type of war survivor (he does look really young though) because he jumps off the bike at the end to attack and save the alcohol poisoned man (who looks like he has a major headache, hint hint) and then he lashes out at the wolves. So the man might just be afraid and never does many exciting things, or he might be some type of war survivor as he saves the man by risking himself and attacks the wolves. But the man risks the girl's life (I think?) and he hurts her just to save the man. So maybe he was always looking to save people, but not realizing his mistakes.
Here's a list of the people bad habits First man: Either has always been afraid and tries to battle his fear at the end, or is a possible war victim or overly brave as he hurts the girl to save the one man, and risks his own life battling the wolves Second man: He seems to be addicted to alcohol Girl: addicted to smoking
