Every week thus sub has a a stickied "What was the best film you watched this week?" thread. I love reading about what other people think of the movies they like and the excitement they express after finally seeing a movie they had been putting off for forever. It's also a good spot for finding movies to add to my watchlist.
I think a weekly 'worst film' thread could be good to have too though. It could help people who have watchlists that are too long take some movies off it without wasting time on watching a movie that's no good.
Or do you think this kind of thread would just get too negative and hostile?
