Just watched the rerelease of the Encounter of the Third Kind. It is a good movie, and i don't regret seeing it, but man is the main character a dead beat dad. I mean dude loses his job which is kind not his fault but then he just goes off the deep end to the point where he trashes his house and scares his family away. Btw, when they leave, they never come back again and then he just leaves earth just like that.
Any more examples of Dead Beat Dads in movies?
