I thought this was a well-acted, rather accurate portrayal of what it's like to be in the culinary world compared to most movies that try to depict what it's like to be a chef. I also like that Bradley Cooper's character was a dick and while he mellowed out as the movie went along, they didn't completely change his character in an unbelievable way just to get the audience to like him more.
I'd recommend this movie to anyone who was rather turned off by the poor reviews. The movie was also well paced and at 1 hour and 40 min is a pretty quick watch.
