Midnight Run, starring De Niro and Eddie Moscone has to be my favourite road movie, even more than the comparable Planes Trains and Automobiles, released the year prior. Yet this film seems to be both not that highly appreciated, and not very well watched. It has such a nice flow and character dynamic between the more serious De Niro and the joking Moscone. It is wholly uplifting, well acted, exciting, funny, and there are even a few quite touching scenes. It is one of the films, where by the end you really do feel like you have been on a thrilling journey. Anyone else seen this? Anyone else like it, or even think its under appreciated as well?
