So I was watching Starship Troopers for the first time in forever and I think I have a theory: did the bugs actually send that first meteor? If you look at the themes of propaganda, maybe a meteor just hit and the military used it as an opportunity to go to war with the bugs. It would make sense in the satire and the film in general especially because all of the info we get on it is from the videos the characters watch. What do you guys think?
