A black and white movie starring a man with prosthetic arms, possibly 40s or 50s. Do you have an idea?

Hi there,

this scene stayed around 2 decades with me but I've forgotten everything else.

There's this little get-together or party, and a man with - I am 75% that he has both - prosthetic arms happens to drop a glass. No wonder with these hamfisted 50s limbs. For him it's a huge letdown though and defeat, he shuts himself in another room in shame and anger.

Then some other stuff happens I guess, and we're again in a similar party. This time he, in a sly show-offy manner, opens the top kitchen drawer and just flips a glass out to catch it with his other claw. At least that's how I rememember it.

This is the sole surviving memory. Anyone who happens to know that exact movie?

Edit: Nevermind, it's The Best Years of Our Lives.
