I don't think I've ever seen an actor go all in for an Oscar like Andrew Garfield is in Breathe.

Saw this trailer again last night in the theater before Logan Lucky. It looks fine but Andrew Garfield is so clearly going all in for the Oscar. It's like the Oscar-baitiest role and trailer I've ever seen. The "I want to truly live" speech at the end of the trailer just screams "PLEASE GIVE ME AN OSCAR." Now I'm sure his performance is going to be amazing as he is typically amazing in all of his roles but OMG this trailer just made my eyes roll from beginning to end.
