Are there any horror movies where someone commits suicide as it's preferable to dying at the hands of the baddie?
Not a heroic attack that will end in death, not self sacrifice to stop the alien reaching earth or the contagion from spreading - just I'm gonna die anyway and I'd rather not spend my last hours running in terror and then getting tortured.
Nearest I can think of is The Mist but he runs out of bullets.
