Films where after blowing up the main ship or killing the enemy leader destroys the whole enemy army/saves the world instantly?

A typical cliche in science fiction, action and fantasy films involves having the whole enemy army being instantly stopped or killed in an instant, which conveniently ends a battle or threat. Im talking about films like the phantom mena, the avengers, lord of the rings or more recently the great wall. In these films the heros always either kill the antagonist, blow up a computer/spaceship or fullfill an ancient profecie to save the day. What's the name of this film trope?
